Mike's posts documenting life on his family owned Ozark Akerz Regenerative Farm, which he affectionately calls his office are very revealing, informative and educational. Mike's genuine passion for the well-being of his farm animals and his decision to raise Heritage Pineywoods Beef, convinced me to buy from Mike. Mike's personality is extroverted, and his customer service is "par excellence", friendly and engaging.
A salient point of note, do not mistake wild-foraged with being purely grass fed, instead a wild-foraged diet includes grass, wild herbs and other native plants, shrubs, vines, and trees. I can assure you that regardless of the cut of beef you experience, know that that beautiful animal was raised, nurtured and fed on Mike's farm, and I can assure you, it will be the best and tastiest beef you have ever eaten!!!
