A couple of weeks ago I stumbled upon a post by April Keaton giving an in depth process on making beef marrow broth and the seasoned beef fat that results from the process. I couldn?t get over the details of the 5 part post. It was evident that April truly enjoys sharing her accomplished processes.
On that note, we tracked her and Ronnie down at the Salem Town Market this past Saturday and learned a little more about these stewards of the land. We scored a pound of ground beef, a dozen eggs, a jar of the seasoned beef fat (all of their broth had already sold out!) and an awesome t-shirt!
Grilled 2 half pound burgers that evening and came to realize I had not had that quality of meat in WAY too many years!
Today we stopped by their farm and bought up as many steaks as my budget would allow. Ha!
Should you be looking for top quality, natural products, you have to get in touch with this couple. They truly go above and beyond with their products and in sharing their extensive knowledge!
