Fresh Gardens

A Day in Community among the Natural A Fruit Paradise in South Florida The South Florida sun embraces the fields of Fresh Gardens, a fruity immersion spot in the heart of Homestead. Here, the act of picking fruit becomes an art, a vital experience that connects us to the land and the community. Our tour started peculiarly, starting from the Southwest Focal Point Community Center in Pembroke Pines, Florida, with the group of seniors 'Craftesanas'. About fifteen seniors joined for the excursion, overflowing with enthusiasm despite the uncertainty of the owner, Robert's absence. The Virtual Assistance That Felt Real Upon our arrival, Robert, the garden's soul, who could not be physically present, guided us through his fruit paradise via Facetime. The screen became a canvas where the green rivers of the garden creek came to life. Despite his absence, Robert demonstrated his warm commitment to visitors: his virtual directions assured us that we were in good hands.
