Drove from Gwinnett for years to attend and enjoyed so much. I received an email preseason in 2015 to notify they were shutting down the market. Sadly they were forced to move to a new location every season, sometimes more than once and I know it became a source of great frustration for the organizers as well the vendors and customers. It's a shame Dunwoody could not give them a permanent location, I know this added a lot to the city. The market was wonderful!

caveat emptor, make sure the potatoes in the basket are the ones they put in the bag! fool me once........I purchased some great eggs(very fresh and tasty) from the guy down at the far end selling honey as well but didn't do so well with the produce, see above. I will get the name of the yellow carrot seller next week and let you know.

Carrots come in several different colors, including yellow. You may have received a unique, hierloom variety of carrot. Unfortunate about the green potatoes, but you can just peel them until the green is gone.

I visited here last Wednesday. Although it was smaller than I imagined it, I ended up leaving with more then expected! I purchased honey, arugula, goat cheese, and some multi grain bread. Everything was perfect. I would say that my only complaint was that none of the vendors seemed that pleasant. One could barely hear anything anyone said, one completely ignored me as I waited with money for 5 minutes (she was talking to a friend), one seemed completely bored, and one seemed kind of snooty, no smiles or thanks whatsoever. OTHER than that, the slight rudeness was definitely worth it for how delicious everything was. I will come here more often, but hopefully everyone will act a little more professional next time! P.S. - the owners of the fudge stand were perfectly polite and pleasant. Should have bought from them and will next time!

It is vender and customer friendly with faithful sellers and buyers returning every week. It ridgidly maintains local grown and produced using naturally grown methods for the food produced. It is fresh, local, substainable, nutricious real whole food.

There is such a feeling of community among the shoppers and those who have brought their produce or products. I've gotten advice on cooking different varieties of squash, rejuvenating my basil plants, using different pestos. ...AND the tomatoes have been great!

The framers are all friendly, helpful and appreciative. The location is fabulous! It has expanded to include many local artisans other than farmers. It is important to me to support the small farmer/artisan vs the big corportations; having the Dunwoody Green Market so convenient allows me to make that choice. Locally grown, seasonal foods are how I feed my family and this helps me accomplish that! Thank you for being in my neighborhood! Your presence here is very much appreciated!

Integrity! Trust! Quality! Sustainable! Responsible! Community! All these intangibles apply to the vendors and products at the Dunwoody market. The vendors at the market really get involved with the customer - you are welcome to be part of their "extended family" and feel linked to the process, the people and the land. The market provides a fantastic way to live - I know where my food comes from and during the summer, we are able to incorporate market products into 100% of our meals. Now that they offer a full range of products: veggies, fruit, meats, dairy, bread and grains, my goal is to eat 100% local and I think this may be attainable as the market expands further!

This Farmer's Market used to be at the Spruill Center, but they were so hidden away that you really had to look for them. The new location next to the Dunwoody post office in Dunwoody Village is great! There are at least twice as many vendors, and more people seem to visit each week.

Last time I was there they had several produce stands, fresh cut flowers, plants and herbs, jewelry, handmade soap, candles, jams & honey, brownies and cookies, two different bakeries with bread and muffins and stuff, a hummus and olive oil booth, shea butter, doggie biscuits, a chips & salsa table... the list goes on and on. And a 'crepe master' who made breakfast crepes and desert crepes to order!

This market is definitely work checking out! There's easy access and plenty of parking all around. And the central location is great! It's close to Sandy Springs, Dunwoody, Chamblee and Norcross. So it's easy to buy fresh foods and handmade items and support local farms and businesses.

Because it's a producer only market with high standards for the vendors which are allowed to sell there, which means customers can buy with confidence knowing they aren't just paying a 1000% mark-up on something purchased at the state farmers market.

I went this morning for the very first time (having found the location on this website). I spoke with several different people, all of whom were very kind and extremely knowledgeable. I purchased from 3 of the different groups selling at the market, including some wonderful kale, cherry tomatoes, a variation of grapes that I had never seen before, and some wonderful smelling soap. I have already tried all of these items with the exception of the soap (which I intend to use later today) and they were all amazingly fresh and delicious. I will continue to go back and I canÂ?t wait to experience the market during the summer months. And thank-you to everyone who was shivering in the cold this morning to sell those items to me! :)

My experience at the Spruill Green Market was excellent!!! There was a large and varied selection of fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as baked goods, jams and jellies, salsas, and handmade soaps. I visited the market at about 9:15 am on August 6, and the vendors mentioned that those who visit the market early often have the best selection. I bought tomatoes, green beans, apples, delicious salsa verde, and a lavender facial soap, and was very pleased with all my purchases. I would recommend this market to everyone, but keep in mind the vendors' advice: come early!

My experience was positive. I like having the choice of selecting locally grown food over other stuff that's been trucked in from a great distance. I will try going on Saturday next time. Penny

I am so sorry you were disappointed. We have had a hard Spring with frost and storms destroying many of the crops we were supposed to bring to market this time of year. That coupled with high fuel costs have kept some of our farmers away. Summer crops are starting to come in and produce is becoming more abundant. We have added more vendors and two new farmers. Tomatoes are about 2 weeks out. Also, I recommend coming early. We farmers try to bring what we know we sell in one day. This reduces waste (produce and the farm workers' salaries we have to pay to help us pick, wash, package, and load everything). If you come late, yes we will be sold out of most everything.

Dear Jane, I visited the Spruill Market that same day, finding fresh squash, kale, chard, green beans and blueberries. There may have been more fresh food, but I was in a hurry to get someplace. I got there before 8:15 am, and there was a lady loaded up with food, ready to leave. I suggest you get there very early. They open at 8:00 am. Penny
