This market is truly a "market", lots of vendors with wide variety of product. Great vibe with music, folks who know each other, vendors who are knowledgeable and an awesome view of downtown. Try the crepes from 3 Days in Paris. YUMMY!

Because they try very hard to bring back the orginal atomphere of yesterdays original farmers market without having those fast food vendors.

We have a large market appropriately on Market Streeet, with information promoting services and healthy alternatives. The market represents diversity. I enjoy the Omish bakery offerings, prepared Tamales, City Mouse organic lunch salads, nursery and plant booths to promote your own gardening, as well as treats provided for canines just to name a few. The space is perfect for busy downtown office workers, and a healthy alternative to other 'foods'. The information booth operator is quite knowledgable, and they offer coupons to promote green activities throughout the Indianapolis area. I even picked up a coupon booklet which allowed me to save on a recycled olive container/rain barrel...very cool! I enjoy learning more about how to be green. This has been a great eco-friendly source for me. DB

its the most established market in town, it's held mid-week which makes it perfect for weekend planning. there's so much more to see and do when you have your fill fresh goods. always my first stop.

This market has the history and feel that reminds me of the great European farmers markets.

Supporting local agriculture and producers is so important. The Original Farmers' Market has a great mix of all-Indiana product, and is one of the longest-running farmers' markets in central Indiana.

I love the City Market! And I love fresh, homegrown food, especially if I don't have to do the work. You find some incredible deals there sometimes and I have a chest type freezer I try to keep full!

freshest produce at the best prices & I love the Amish baked goods that are sold there as well. I have also purchased some of my best plants from there. I'm referring to the one in the street every Wednesday.

It's a great local tradition...now even more important during these difficult economic times. I can shop during the week (Wednesday) which frees up more of my weekend.

I like the atmosphere when I am there. It is more relaxed than a crowded grocery store and the people are friendly.
