Original Farmers' Market at the Indianapolis City Market

We have a large market appropriately on Market Streeet, with information promoting services and healthy alternatives. The market represents diversity. I enjoy the Omish bakery offerings, prepared Tamales, City Mouse organic lunch salads, nursery and plant booths to promote your own gardening, as well as treats provided for canines just to name a few. The space is perfect for busy downtown office workers, and a healthy alternative to other 'foods'. The information booth operator is quite knowledgable, and they offer coupons to promote green activities throughout the Indianapolis area. I even picked up a coupon booklet which allowed me to save on a recycled olive container/rain barrel...very cool! I enjoy learning more about how to be green. This has been a great eco-friendly source for me. DB
