I enjoy all of the fresh local produce and helping to keep money in the local community, and I sell my handmade jewelry there :-)

There's nothing like fresh produce from your neighboring farmers! It's good for your body and soul, good for the farmers and their families, good for the land and the local economy. I vote happily to support Jackson County Farmers Market.

Jackson County farmer's market provides the highest quality naturally grown products and maintains a positive, healthy connection with the community. The farmer's Market is truly a blessing to have in our small mountain community!

As a local restaurant owner, I appreciate the ability to support the local farmers, home growers, crafts-people and artisans of our community. Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a wonderful concept. Buy local, eat local, thousands of miles fresher. Supporting our local economy while getting to sample the freshest, most delicious produce and other food items available is worth visiting our weekly Farmer's Market. In season, local and delicious. What more could one ask for?

Not only is the food local, it is organically grown and all of it beautiful. The people are a delight and always willing to go the extra mile too.

I love being a vendor @ the market because I get to know so many people who are my neighbors and now my friends. I like to provide folks with my fresh roasted coffee because their reactions are usually so positive. It makes me feel good to be a part of Sylva economy and community

As a vender I am proud to offer fresh, local produce grown with love not chemicals. It's good for the local economy and good for the environment when produce doesn't travel hundreds of miles before reaching your table.

We like to know where I food is coming from, and the people who grow it. Our local farmer's market is a great way to support our community, and keep our shopping dollars local.

I am a member of Jackson County Chamber of Commerce and B&B owner, plus we have a All Natural breads ooth at the Market. It is one of the best ways to get real vegi's and products for consuption that are good for you and helps support the local population by circulating money back into the community.

The market is so nice for all the fresh veg, flowers, home made goodies and just plain good folks. It's such a pleasure to go each saturday and just enjoy what a local mountain market is all about.

This is a great local market that has grown so much. It has an ecclectic mix of vendors and patrons which make it such a wonderful place to be!

I have been going to this market from the beginning nearly 7 years ago. In 7 years it has turned into a meeting place for frineds, a place to find fresh local produce, treats and coffee! It is a place where you can see and meet local entertainers and it is run by many mom and pop gardeners like myself who wish to share their little abundance with others. That (and many more reasons) is why I am voting for my small town Sylva's farmer's market!

In a mountainous county with a low population count (36,739), the vendors provide wonderful organic offerings as though we were much more populous market! We are privileged to have each vendor.

It is a joy to see so many folks come together for such a good cause as eating locally grown produce!
