Since 2000, we have been providing Sylva, Jackson County and the surrounding area with a wide range of locally produced produce, meats, eggs, cheeses, breads, plants, and crafts. Many of our original vendors continue to be a strong backbone of the market. Drop-in vendors expand on the full-time vendors offerings with additional products and services.
With over 35 full-time vendors and even double that amount in drop-in vendors, we offer a wide range of local food and shopping opportunities for our community. We bring in over 12,000 annual customers to the town of Sylva. The Jackson County Farmers Markets warm, family-like environment exemplifies the beauty of our community.
The Jackson County Farmers Market is a bi-weekly, Wednesday evening and Saturday morning gathering of the best farmers, crafters, and value-added producers our area has to offer.
Year-round, 18-year old farmers market offering locally grown and crafted products, meeting Wednesday evenings 4-7 and Saturday mornings, 9-12, April - October in Bridge Park Parking lot. We move indoors from November to March, just across Scotts Creek, in the Community Table.

There's nothing like fresh produce from your neighboring farmers! It's good for your body and soul, good for the farmers and their families, good for the land and the local economy.... [more]
