We've especially enjoyed the amazing variety of heirloom tomatos, crisp lettuce and zucchini, flavorful potatoes and cabbage! It is all so much more tasty than produce from a grocery store, and the special touches accompanying the vegetables are delightful--the farm's own cabbage salad recipe is fabulous, and the fresh flowers are a cheerful treat.

Here is the 411 on swiss chard. I just wanted to share it with others and Pleasant Ridge is the best place to get the top of the line swiss chard. Swiss chard is one of the most nutritious veggies around. It contains anthocyanins and fiber, which prevent colon and digestive cancers; iron, supporting the body's ability to utilize oxygen; vitamin A to protect your lungs and prevent heart disease; vitamin C to boost your immune function and protect against heart disease; vitamin K to keep bones strong and allow blood to clot. To think we thought it was just swiss chard. I am so glad my family has found a true organic local farm. My mouth is watering for your fresh vegies. I can not wait for the 2010 harvest. Thank you!

I was a subscriber for the first season in 2009 and I had the most fun with your weekly selection of produce. What stood out for me was the potatoes and greens. The potatoes were tasty, buttery and ever so fresh. I had alot of fun coming up with new and interesting recipes based on their amazing quality.
The greens were to die for. Such vibrant shades and quality made me re-rethink not serving a side salad during dinner.
I highly recommend Pleasant Ridge Organic Farm for their subscription service.

Your brussels sprouts were such a hit at a dinner party I had that I almost didn't get a serving for myself! I can't wait for your first harvest this year.
