Lots going on here. The view is spectacular and the farm is well maintained. The farm stand is well stocked, but much of it is from other growers and producers. Some of what is sold is obviously made by someone else (the soap).
But what is not produced, grown, or made on site, should be labeled as such, so the customer know where their purchases came from and that maker, grower, etc. can be properly thanked.

Does not measure up to 1/2 shares I have had in the past. If they want to promise shares for all they should only start in a season where they actually have enough food to make it worth it. Also, they delivered my basket to an incorrect address..I will definitely be trying a different CSA after this one.

This farm gives the illusion of being a working farm. Unfortunately, they buy food wholesale and resell it as their own. They'll tell people it comes from "cold storage" but never admit to not growing it themselves. The produce that isn't grown on site includes carrots, potatoes, leeks, shallots, onions, broccoli, spinach, rosemary, squash, pumpkins, asparagus, chives among others. They buy peaches from a vendor at the Colchester Farmers Market and resell them in the farm stand with customers believing they were grown there. Plastic containers of Driscoll's strawberries and blueberries are repacked into small blue cartons and also resold as theirs. They buy huge quantities of wholesale eggs from Noah's Pride, and Restaurant Depot. These are repacked into custom egg cartons, interspersed with some eggs from their chickens. Duck eggs do come from the farm. Their meat and goats' milk are from the animals they raise, and they grow some vegetables such as colored carrots, chard and lettuce.

This CSA was incredibly poor value for what I paid. It is the MOST EXPENSIVE CSA in all of New London and Middlesex Counties, and some weeks I wasn't receiving very much in my share. I understand that harvests are variable, but when putting out so much money I expect the farmer to have better diversity. I also thought it was certified organic, that's what I understood when I signed up, but it is just organic practice. Not what I thought I was paying for but that's on me. Just read carefully!
There are many other options locally and I will be continuing my business elsewhere.

The eggs are so fresh and deep orange as a healthy yolk should be. Her veggies are crisp and delicious. Support Local and this is what happens!
