This farm gives the illusion of being a working farm. Unfortunately, they buy food wholesale and resell it as their own. They'll tell people it comes from "cold storage" but never admit to not growing it themselves. The produce that isn't grown on site includes carrots, potatoes, leeks, shallots, onions, broccoli, spinach, rosemary, squash, pumpkins, asparagus, chives among others. They buy peaches from a vendor at the Colchester Farmers Market and resell them in the farm stand with customers believing they were grown there. Plastic containers of Driscoll's strawberries and blueberries are repacked into small blue cartons and also resold as theirs. They buy huge quantities of wholesale eggs from Noah's Pride, and Restaurant Depot. These are repacked into custom egg cartons, interspersed with some eggs from their chickens. Duck eggs do come from the farm. Their meat and goats' milk are from the animals they raise, and they grow some vegetables such as colored carrots, chard and lettuce.
