The regenerative ground beef patties were good but the other cuts of meat I ordered were not- I ordered a boneless ribeye that was very tough when cooked rare, and a filet mignon that was extremely thin, like less than an inch thick. Didn't look like any filet mignon i've seen before.. I had high expectations for flavor and quality when ordering from a pasture raised, grass fed and finished local farm but unfortunately I will not be buying from them again.

Richards grassfed beef is the favorite of my whole fam and we are lucky that it is sold at the nearby market! Given COVID, it has been more convenient to order online. They seem to sell out of all of their inventory quickly, so we end up buying in bulk to freeze and unthaw down the road. My husband loves the tomahawk (which he requests for almost every special occasion), ribeye, and of course ground beef for a burger that is simply divine. IMO the best-tasting burger in CA, even compared to high-end or critically acclaimed options in the SF Bay Area or wine country. Kiddos are (unfortunately) spoiled and will not tolerate the burgers at fast food restaurants now.

I ordered 20 pounds of ground beef and stew meat a couple months ago and I am very disappointed with it. The ground beef has way too much fat and seems to me more than 20% that almost caught my house on fire when barbecuing hamburgers. It was very tough and has big chewy pieces of fat. Also, it was not grinded fine. My family and I tried to like it but we could not and ended up throwing away about 14 pounds. I cooked the stew meat in the slow cooker and still tough and did not have a nice flavor. I do not recommend it at all as I believe that the ground beef is made up of scrap and left over pieces of meat not sirlion or chuck.
