Prairie View Farms

Prairie View Farms has a grass based and back to nature approach to farming. We have been grazing cattle since 1994. Currently we sell grassfed beef, lamb and pork. The pasture pork has to be reserved because we only raised the amount that is ordered. Pork is available in late September. Lamb is available November-March. In May we give spring lamb tours we the baby lambs are born on grass. Our six children also help with tours on our farm and help sell naturally raised produce from our garden. This year we will be selling at the farmer's market in Waupaca. In June will be adding fresh eggs and items made from our wool such as yarn, rooving, quilt batts and sheepskins. In the fall from September-October, we host Autumn Harvest on our farm where families, 4-H clubs and school children can get a tour of our farm to learn how animals are grown and food is produced. Families can find there way through our haymaze and pick a pumpkin before they go home. To round out the year we also make balsam fir christmas wreaths and sell fresh cut trees. As you can see the Orr family farm has something for every season. Our family would love to provide quality grassfed products and holiday items to your household.
