Singing Gardens, near Blanchard, Idaho grows a variety of vegetables, fruits and herbs including several heirloom varieties. We are located in a particularly challenging gardening area with freezes in late May and late August, so we use several tricks to extend the growing season. Cool crops like onions, lettuce, chard, kale, spinach, carrots grow well here and will be plentiful. We grow several herbs and will share with you a variety of ways to use them.
Since Singing gardens is located behind out home, we ask that you call or email to discuss what is ready to harvest and arrange pick up times. It is very common for neighbors to be stopping by most any day, so feel free to email a day or so of your shopping plans.

Many people still think that the farmers' market is where you go for cheap food. Certainly at times, there are bargans to be found. We would do better to think of farmers' market as the place where we can find food that is impeccably fresh and delicious, truly local and thereofre truly seasonal, raised by sound, sustainable methods and by someone who might become your friend. This is food that tastes so good, little has to be done to it in the kitchen!
