The Farm at St Joseph

THE FARM at ST. JOSEPH is located in Brentwood, New York, on the grounds of The Sisters of St. Joseph, a congregation of women who have lived and worked in the community for over one hundred years. At the farm we grow over 100 different varieties of vegetables and plant to provide you with 8-12 lbs of certified organic vegetables per week, averaged over the course of the 21 week harvest season. The Farm is operated by Family Residences and Essential Enterprises, Inc., (FREE) a non-profit agency that has served people of all abilities on Long Island for over thirty years. Since 2011 Family Residences volunteer farmers have been responsible for its daily care, vegetable selection and planning, and provided thousands of pounds of vegetables to many Long Island charities in addition to exceeding shareholder expectations. Weather permitting, we hope that success will continue in 2015.
