Jolly Pond Farm

Jolly Pond Farm was founded in the summer of 2010 on 20 acres of land in Long Island, VA. We are a small private farm focusing on vegetable production for the community markets and as of March 2012 will be supplying Local Food Hub with produce. Our future plans are to one day produce a high quality wine from our vineyard. Moving into our 3rd year of production we have over 230 grapes vines in the ground that will produce their first ever harvest for us this coming summer and fall. Plus all our berry bushes we planted last year should give us a bountiful harvest for the first time too. Our garden will be full of a wide variety of crops this year. Back in Febaury we got a jump start on our plantings with tomatoes, cucumbers, squash, tomatillos, peanuts, soy beans, basil, broccoli, cabbage, lettuce, onions, scallions and garlic. Currently we are not open to the public but if you have interest in our farm or produce feel free to contact us about appointments.
