We grow tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, artisan squash, melons, watermelons, eggplant, corn, artisan pole beans, and okra. We specialize in heirloom / heritage and unique varieties. This year we planted 4000 tomato plants of more than 200 varieties, 8000 cucumber vines, 2000 beans, 2000 hot and sweet peppers and chilies of 100 + varieties, 100 squash / zucchini, and a few different okra varieties. We experimented with some melons and watermelons and we think we found some that taste great growing from our soil. Currently, our only retail outlet is at McGonigles (79th and Ward Parkway) but we are looking for places to expand so let us know if you have any ideas. Everything we use for fertilizer and pesticide is OMRI certified. As we grow and find others in our area with a passion like ours we will work to team up with them to bring you more great tasting, good for you, fresh from the farm produce and products. For the 2016 season, starting in March, we will be looking for 3 interns to help us get plants started for local fundraising and for our farm. Please contact us if you would like a personal farm tour. We look forward to hearing from you.
