The Meuer Farm is a 180 acre farm located 1/2 mile north of Brothertown on Hwy. 151 in Calumet Co., WI. We are along the eastern shore of Lake Winnebago. We are a 5th. generation farm that does rotational grazing of my cow/calf beef herd.
The first crop of the year is the maple syrup harvest. All trees tapped are located on our property and the boiling is done in our syrup shed. All syrup is available at our farm in pint and quart containers. And the public is welcome to come and watch and try some during the syrup season.After this we have watercress for sale that we harvest from our streambanks.
We have 5 acres of Pick-Your-Own and pre-picked strawberries ready for picking in mid-June with 7 seven different varieties. Each row of strawberries has an irrigation line buried under the roots to provide water from our spring fed pond when it is dry. Bi-color sweet corn is the next crop ready in early to mid July. Mid-August honey is ready to be harvested from the 25 bee hives kept at our farm. Ask about our price on bulk honey.
In the fall we have a 10 acre corn maze and activity area. Hayrides are available during the maze and for fieldtrips. We grow 3 acres of all kinds of pumpkins, squash, gourds and Indian corn. Straw bales,corn stalks, even Hickory nuts and black walnuts are available. Meuer Farm grows its own oats, durum and spelt here and produces rolled oats, certified organic oat flour, Oatmeal N'Berries, durum flour and spelt flour. Look for our Farm Flavors� brand in stores near you or order on-line thru our website store. Our on farm retail store is open May thru Nov and by calling ahead during the off season.
Our farm to table dinners here on the farm are held once a month from May thru Sept and we can seat 80 people. A 4-5 course meal prepared by a different chef and restaurant each month features 3 products grown or raised here on the farm. A farm activity or learning experience accompanies each meal. order tickets on-line!!! Reservations ARE REQUIRED!! We sell out fast.
The farm is available for school fieldtrips, corporate teambuilding, parties. Tours, motorcoach tours and hayrides are available depending on the weather and the season. please call ahead! (920) 418-2676
