Victory Acres is a 114-acre working farm. Our food is grown on land that has been lovingly cared for by the Himelick family for over six generations. We are confident that our food is of the highest quality, good food, naturally grown, raised the way that God intended. Our CSA members not only know where their food was produced and how it was raised, but they also know something else. They enjoy each bite knowing that not only is their share helping to support alternative agriculture in Indiana (In 2008, we were one of just 18 CSAs in IN), but it is also helping Victory Inner-city Ministries in our effort to help struggling families, troubled teens and homeless neighbors (www.vicm.org). Much of the work at Victory Acres is done by people from inner city Indianapolis who need to get away from the negative influences of the city and rebuild. While they are doing good work that is helping to produce good food, they are rebuilding their health and their lives. It is a winning combination! Our CSA members are special. They share our vision as they share in the risks and rewards of our farm. They give so that we can give back. In return for their membership, they receive a share of our local, certified naturally-grown produce featuring over 40 varieties of vegetables, herbs, and a smattering of fruit conveniently available for pick up at Muncie, Fishers, Victory Village Shoppe in downtown Indianapolis or at the farm in Upland.
