Hi, and thanks for reading about Nature's Harmony Farm! Now open, we are a new, sustainable farm located in Elberton, GA, about 2 hours east of Atlanta, operated by Tim and Liz Young. In 2006, we joined a growing movement of people who have grown tired of the industrial system. Like you, we wanted to know where our food comes from, be assured that the animals lived freely and happily as long as they are alive, and be assured that no growth hormones, antibiotics or chemical fertilizers are used anywhere. Unfortunately, there aren't many farms like that in Georgia, so we set out to start our own on 125 acres of pasture and hardwoods. We specialize in grass-fed Murray Grey and Angus beef, pastured heritage poultry and eggs, heritage Large Black and Ossabaw free foraging pork, heritage turkey and pastured lamb, and we offer these delicious products to customers who want to buy local where they can see how their food is grown.(more...)
