The UCSC Farm & Garden are operated by staff and students of the Center for Agroecology & Sustainable Food Systems at UC Santa Cruz. The Farm & Garden serve as training sites for students in the six-month Apprenticeship in Ecological Horticulture, who raise a wide variety of vegetable, fruit, and flower crops as part of their hands-on training. Fresh organic produce is sold twice a week both through a 140-member CSA and at the Market Cart, located at the base of campus. CSA pick ups take place on the UCSC Farm.
