The UCSC Farm & Alan Chadwick Garden are operated by staff and students of the Center for Agroecology & Sustainable Food Systems at UC Santa Cruz. The Farm & Garden serve as training sites for students in the six-month Apprenticeship in Ecological Horticulture, who raise a wide variety of vegetable, fruit, and flower crops as part of their hands-on training. Fresh organic produce is sold twice a week both through a 130-member CSA and at the Market Cart, located at the base of campus. CSA pick ups take place on the UCSC Farm and at the Market Cart on Tuesdays and Fridays from 12 noon - 6 pm.

Wonderful CSA where you pick up at the historical and beautiful UCSC farm and garden. The farm apprentice notes and recipes are a joy to read. The CSA garden is full of beautiful flowers and herbs to pick next to the historic barn (The laughter barn). Fun people and fabulous food.
