2015 Clinton Farmers' Market Ready For Second Year In New Location!
Featuring local honey, fresh produce and flowers, meat, eggs, dairy, baked goods, prepared foods, brick oven pizza, handmade gifts and more.
Have you visited the new Clinton Farmers' Market? After a successful first year in its new location on Main Street along Route 1, the Clinton Farmers' Market is scheduled for another great season of bringing quality local produce and goods to the Connecticut shoreline.
From June 18th to September 10th the market will run on Thursdays from 4 - 7 pm, making it an essential part of the town's "Thursdays In Clinton" campaign, which promotes the town-wide happenings that fall on Thursdays in Summer - Many of which are free to the public, like the Guilford Savings Bank Concert Series and historical Stanton House Museum tours, situated next door to the market.
Along with many popular returning vendors, the market also welcomes some fresh faces, and will continue to update the list as applications come in. We can look forward to seeing more exceptional vendors like these who have been confirmed for the 2015 market:
Four Root Farm (formerly Darling Farm) features a wide variety of diverse and unique organically cultivated produce and cut flowers grown on their new farm located in East Haddam. They are currently in the process of becoming one of the less than 50 organically certified farms in Connecticut.
The Bee Happy Co. is a Clinton-based apiary that uses raw materials taken directly from beehives located primarily on an organic, non-GMO farm to create home & beauty products like beeswax, royal jelly, and lip balms in addition to raw honey and other edibles like honeycomb and bee pollen.
Sanremo Bakery has been owned and operated by the Motta family from Berlin since 1982. They'll be offering their famous baked
breads, cookies, Italian pastries, canolli, stuffed breads, and more.

Bitta Blue Farm is a family-run farm from Killingworth that has worked organically with the land for over 30 years to provide a variety of fresh vegetables, flowers, eggs, and goat's milk body care products for neighboring towns.
Shannon's Jammin' out of Old Lyme has roughly 30 different varieties of gluten-free, pesticide-free jams available throughout the year that are just as delicious on toast as they are in marinades and appetizers, including some more exotic seasonal flavors like citrus-ginger, jalapeno-strawberry, habanero-mango, and sangria.
Mallard Lane Lavender is Clinton-grown with no chemicals of any kind. These sweet bunches tied with high-quality ribbon are as beautiful as they are fragrant, making them the perfect addition to any summer home or an ideal hostess gift. This local lavender is also safe for use in cooking, making it as practical as it is chic.
