Sweet Oregon Farm

Sweet Oregon Farm is located in Helvetia just minutes from downtown Portland. We are an organic farm, although not certified, we meet all of the organic certified requirements. We grow a large number of fruits and vegetables and have a very long growing season. We grow onions, both Walla Walla and Utah Jumbos, heirloom tomatoes, green onions, broccoli, spinach, summer and winter lettuce, asparagus, green beans, corn, peppers, garlic, beets, potatoes, watermelon, cantaloupe, and more. We have a very large heirloom apple orchard. We not only have apples for picking we also produce our own single variety apple juice. It is just like eating an apple off of the tree. Pear, plum, and cherry trees are also available for the picking. Again, no pesticides or herbicides are ever used on any fruit or vegetables. No chemicals used. Grapes are also grown on the property providing for wine and sparkling wine. The wine is some of the best in Oregon. These will be available for sale. Berries and more berries. Strawberries, marionberries, blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries. Sweet and delicious. Lovely flowers are in abundance. They are grown in and amongst the gardens and orchards. This is valuable for the best bug control. They are also wonderful for cutting and enjoying at home. Member dinners will be arranged through out the season. These will take place in the garden with candle light, linens, wine, music, and of course fresh ingredients from the garden. Please check the website for more information.
