Bella Terra Family Farm is a small, diversified family farm nestled in the northern section of the Montgomery County Agriculture Reserve in Comus, MD on a ridge facing Sugarloaf Mountain. We raise and sell delicious pastured pork, chicken, and lamb. We also sell fresh rabbit and eggs from our pastured, free-ranging, happy & healthy chickens. We raise beautiful, homegrown heirloom and hybrid vegetables, flowers, and herbs that have been naturally grown (without synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or chemical fertilizers) and we market these through our CSA (community supported agriculture) group, around the community at local farmers markets, and at our on-farm farm stand.
We are located in Northern Montgomery County, off of Exit 22 (Sugarloaf Mountain--Barnesville exit) on 270, about 2 miles from the highway. We are located about 10 minutes from Frederick and 15 minutes from Germantown.
