Ledgeview Gardens is a small, family owned farm dedicated to growing produce naturally and pesticide free. We have never used any harmful sprays on our produce. Our passion for sustainable growing steamed from our roots in hobby gardening. In 2000 we built a "Three Bay" gutter connect Hydroponic Greenhouse structure and began producing beefsteak tomatoes. The following year we added cucumbers to our hydroponic produce list and the year after that came lettuce. Currently we grow: tomatoes; large and small varieties, lettuce and salad greens and cucumbers hydroponically. Along with hydroponics we farm nearly 18 acres of soil grown produce. We are not certified organic, but do not believe the certification is necessary. We strongly believe the most important aspect of growing healthy produce is NOT using pesticides, herbicides and fungicides. Becoming "certified" organic is only going to increase our overhead and in turn raise our prices to our consumers. We encourage anybody to call to find out what we have at any time of the season, including late season after the markets are over. Hydroponic growing allows us to get an early start and extend the season. There are plenty of spaces available for the 2015 CSA season. If you have any questions you can contact us on our website or right here on Local Harvest. Hope to hear from you soon!

Upcoming Events

Check out our 2018 CSA options. Our CSA has received great reviews by our returning and new customers. We always make sure to fill our shares with the most desirable crops from week 1 through week 24! With the help and expansion of our hydroponic greenhouses we are able to extend our season from May through December, often offering fall/winter shares. This year is no different and is already off to a great start. Check out our website and Facebook page for more CSA information!
