Pure Beeswax Candles Review and Giveaway by Domestic Geek Girl

Pensacola, Florida -- On her blog Domestic Geek Girl, Gingi recently reviewed 100% Pure Beeswax Candles from The Mohawk Valley Trading Company. In addition, she’s holding a giveaway for an assortment of beeswax candles. The candle bundle includes; one 2” x 6” 100% pure beeswax pillar candle, two 100% pure beeswax votive candles, two 100% pure beeswax taper candles, six 100% pure beeswax tea light candles, and twelve 100% pure beeswax birthday candles.

“I made the switch from paraffin to beeswax when my daughter was born, when I discovered that paraffin candles are one of the absolute WORST offenders to indoor air quality,” says Gingi. “The scent does not amplify while burning, but the gentle floral tones do linger. (I never thought of candles as an air freshener, but now I am addicted to the lovely honey scent that permeates my coat closet now!).”

About Heather

Heather began her journey with her family into homesteading in 2006. They bought their first house, and attempted to start their first garden. As the years passed they learned more, tried new things, added laying hens and began their journey toward self sufficiency.

Her kids raise meat birds, turkeys, and rabbits for 4H, so those are naturally added each year. Having a manicured lawn no longer has precedence, and they enjoy what they call their “poultry vision,” much more than any TV show or movie.

Her hope is to encourage her readers to start where they are at, and just do what they can do. Heather believes each of us can make a difference, but only if you try.

About Brandy

On Newly Crunchy Mama Of 3, Brandy talks about her life. Whether it be rants, the joys of parenthood, recipes, or product reviews and giveaways, she always has something to share with you all.

Brandy has been married for over 4 years now, and she has added 2 more beautiful children to her family. They tried to conceive for awhile, and it was definitely a struggle. They found out she has PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome) so they made a ton of lifestyle changes in hopes of expanding their family. The journey was hard, but it paid off in the end. They suffered through 4 miscarriages in 3 years, and were finally blessed with their little princess Sophia Suzanne on New Year's Eve, 2009. Shortly after they had her, they were given the shock of a lifetime when they discovered they were expecting AGAIN.

With 2 toddlers and a preteen, her hands are pretty full. She says there is never a dull moment in her home, and they have had some fun experiences as well as some that are not-so-fun. Despite the insanity and chaos that surrounds her every day,  she is so incredibly grateful for the life she has, and wouldn't change a single thing.

Natural Handmade Soap Review and Giveaway by The Kerrminator

Portland, OR -- On The Kerrminator’s Blog, Sara recently reviewed natural handmade soap by the Mohawk Valley Trading Company. In addition, she is holding a giveaway for one bar each of goat's milk lavender, castile, sage, rose, and pine soap.

“I was surprised at how much I liked the rose scent because I don’t typically like floral fragrances and rose tends to be overpowering,” says Sara. “All the soaps left my skin feeling smooth and not dried out like a lot of “beauty bars” and “moisturizing bars.” My favorite was definitely the castile; I love the smell, and the way my skin feels after I use it; soft and smooth.”
