Ingredients:
2 ½ C flour
2 t baking powder
2 t cinnamon
½ t baking soda
½ t salt
¼ t ground clove
¼ t ground nutmeg
3 eggs
1 ¼ C apple sauce
1 C raw apple blossom honey
1 C sugar or Demerara sugar
¾ C brewed coffee room temperature
1 ½ t orange zest, packed
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F
- Combine all dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl
- In a separate bowl whisk together all wet ingredients until well mixed
- Add wet ingredients to dry and stir until smooth
- Generously butter a Bundt cake pan and pour in batter
- Bake for 45 minutes or until cake springs back when touched and a toothpick comes out clean
- Cool in the pan for about 20 minutes and then gently remove and allow to finish cooling on a baking rack
Dust with powdered sugar before serving
