Ingredients:
1/4 cup
raw honey
2 Tablespoons butter
2/3 cup slivered almonds
a dash to 1/4 teaspoon salt
6 Tablespoons cream
Directions:
- Combine butter and honey in a saucepan over a medium high heat until melted.
- Add the almonds and stir constantly for about 5 minutes until the mixture resembles brown caramel. Mixture will burn if not stirred continuously.
- Remove mixture from heat, continue stirring, add salt and slowly stir in cream. The mixture will be molten be sure not to burn yourself or others. Pour the sauce separate container and cool.
- De-glaze the pan with water while still hot this will loosen the caramel and make for an easier clean up.
