Ingredients:
20 medium scallops
10 slices of thick cut bacon
½ C
maple syrup
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
- Soak 4 wooden skewers in water for one hour
- Preheat oven to 425°F
- Cut each slice of bacon in half
- Wrap each scallop in on ½ piece of bacon and slide on skewers
- Lightly season with salt and pepper and drizzle with ¼ C maple syrup
- Bake on a cookie sheet until bacon is cooked and scallops are opaque white
- Remove from oven, brush with remaining syrup and serve
