Ingredients:
1/3 C water
¼ C maple syrup
3 T butter
1 ½ lbs carrots, scrubbed and cut into ½ inch rounds
Directions
- Add all ingredients to a large skillet, bring to a boil
- Lower heat, cover and let simmer until carrots are tender but still crisp
- Remove carrots to serving dish with slotted spoon. Reduce liquid for about 5 minutes until thickened to a glaze consistency. Pour over carrots
- Season with salt and pepper. Serve warm
