Ingredients:
1 C butter
¾ C Maple Syrup
¾ C Honey
2 eggs
4-inches of scraped vanilla bean or 1 tsp vanilla extract
1 t salt
1 t baking soda
2 ½ C flour
1 C chopped walnuts
2 C dark chocolate chips
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease 2 cookie sheets and set aside
- Beat butter until fluffy, gradually adding in honey and syrup. Add eggs, beating well between additions. Mix in vanilla
- In separate bowl combine salt, soda and flour. Gradually add to honey and syrup mixture. Continue to mix until moistened
- Using a wooden spoon fold in chocolate chips and pecans
- Drop by rounded tablespoonful onto prepared cookie sheet. Bake for 8 minutes or until golden brown
