Ingredients:
1 medium onion, peeled and sliced
3 ½ lb chicken legs/thighs
½ C
maple syrup
¼ C butter, melted
½ t ginger
1 orange
Salt to taste
Directions:
- Place onion slices on the bottom of the crock pot, top with chicken pieces
- Whisk together maple syrup, butter and ginger. Remove orange zest and juice orange, add to sauce
- Pour sauce over chicken and cook on med-high for 3 hours, basting occasionally
