3 T butter
1 T maple syrup, plus ½ C
3 Large baking apples, peeled and cored, cut into ½ inch slices
½ T cinnamon
2-inches of scraped vanilla bean or ½ tsp ground vanilla
¼ C chopped, toasted walnuts
Directions:
Melt butter in large skillet
Add 1 T maple syrup and apples. Cook until tender over medium-high heat, stirring frequently
Add cinnamon, vanilla and ½ C maple syrup, continue to cook until slightly reduced. Stir in toasted nuts
