Spiced Maple Nuts

Ingredients:

2 C Nuts
3 T Maple Syrup
¼ C sugar
1 t salt
¼ t each: cayenne pepper, black pepper, ginger, cinnamon

Directions:

  1. Combine sugar, salt and spices in small bowl. Pour maple syrup into a large bowl.
  2. Toast nuts over med-high heat in large skillet. Constantly shake or stir until hot, about 5 minutes.
  3. Pour nuts from hot pan into syrup, toss to coat. Stir in spices until coated. Cool in single layer on a baking sheet. Serve when cool.
