The Homesteading Hippy Reviews Comb Honey From The Mohawk Valley Trading Company

On her blog The Homesteading Hippy, Heather recently reviewed comb honey from The Mohawk Valley Trading Company.

“It’s light, flavorful, and has the comb in the package. I had never really tried the comb before, and I was pleasantly surprised at it. It’s chewy, waxy, but tastes so good on toast or oatmeal. I even liked it in my tea, although there was a “waxy” coating at the top. It was still a very pleasant experience for me.” said Heather. “I can totally see why chefs and gourmads would use it! It’s unique texture lends to a variety of uses and the flavor really shines through!”

Heather lives with her husband and three children in Northern Indiana. Real food, and living as close to natural as possible became a passion several years ago, and she hasn’t looked back.  When she isn’t working outside in the garden, with chickens, or milking goats, you can find her blogging at The Homesteading Hippy.
