Butter Valley Harvest was founded on the Ehst Homestead Farm to grow hydroponic lettuces, herbs, tomatoes, and cucumbers. Greens are available year-round, and tomatoes and cucumbers are available April through December.

We wholesale butterhead lettuce and living basil through local wholesale companies such as Primo Produce and J. Ambrogi. We deliver directly to grocery stores in the Redners and Wegmans chain.

Their lettuce is tender, tasty and fresh and with the roots attached keeps nicely in the fridge. I buy it at Freed's market, a small family-owned grocery on Swamp Pike. I've shopped at Freed's for years, and I love that I can support Butter Valley Harvest farm there.
