Oliewood Gardens and Learning Center

The Mission of Olivewood Gardens and Learning Center is to connect and motivate students and families from diverse backgrounds through organic gardening, environmental stewardship, and nutrition education, empowering them to be healthy and active citizens. Our Vision is to reconnect students and families to the natural environment through food, education and community engagement. Olivewood's indoor/outdoor classroom includes a large organic garden, an educational kitchen, and a Victorian home. We provide free, hands-on cooking, gardening, and science education to youth and adults. In the last three years, we have hosted over 23,000 student visits and 10,000 community visits and engaged over 1,100 community volunteers in over 16,000 hours of service.
