We grow Certified Naturally Grown produce year-round.
We are a human-powered, no-till, farm that grows and harvests from real soil 52 weeks a year.
Using techniques developed over 12 years of farming, we strive to grow and harvest the most nutrient-dense produce possible.
We never tire of continually growing, learning, trialing different methods, and creating custom systems of non-conventional organic farming that continue to amaze us season after season with ever-increasing yields, density, color, and flavor.
Our Philosophy:
Let's leave the earth a better place than the way we found it.
We believe our body is our temple, and that what we put in it matters! It starts with food, which starts with the soil that the food is grown in.
Our ultimate goal is to feed our family the most delicious and nourishing produce we possibly can and whatever is left over to share with as many families as possible.
It all matters, the people who tend the earth, the soil itself, the seed, the plants, and finally, the families for whom's table we provide.
We strive to grow nutrient-dense foods. We stretch the season both ways without using any fuel, using only the natural light and trapping the sun's warm rays in our high tunnel, plus using very low technology-row covers and high tunnels.
We use cover crop where we can and apply generous amounts of compost when we can. We take regular soil tests to ensure that our mineral content is healthy and change, as needed. We do not use any petroleum-based insecticide, herbicides, fungicides, or any other "unpronounceable-cides", on our crops. You are welcome to come and inspect our supply and tool sheds and look for yourself.
We strive to be open and transparent with everyone we feed and we are passionate about enabling others to grow their own food.
