Floating Bridge Family Farm

former family dairy farm, being run by myself & wife. we realized we needed to save her families farm so we leased it from her father and certified it organic this year. we hope to bring her father home from the nursing home this summer. we sell hay from appox. 65 acres, have 2 acres veggies, 40 acres under woodland managment and will be harvesting logs with horses this fall & winter. we will be having beef next year. we raise appox. 150 broilers, 50 laying pullets to sell, eggs & turkeys this fall. i have worked with soils for many years and i am using new practices to improve old farmland in these hills. we also will be making maple syrup again. we live near the famous brookfield floating bridge, so come and visit. we have a long way to go, but it is good for this 68 yr. to be back farming.
