Seton Harvest is a Community Supported Agriculture Project sponsored by the Daughters of Charity of St. Vincent DePaul, a non-for-profit religious organization committed to promoting sustainable agriculture. Our first growing season began in the Spring of 2006. We started with 64 shareholder families and expanded to 155 in 2012. The farm produces some 50+ different vegetables, flowers and herbs. Our ten acre farm site includes a barn, two greenhouses, high tunnel and is fully irrigated. Seton Harvest has proved to be a successful ecological justice initiative and has received much support from the local community. At the end of the growing season for 2012 we grew over 10,000 pounds and dontated 20% of that to local food banks, homeless shelters and the poor.
