Earth First Farms

Earth First Farms is a family-owned certified organic fruit and vegetable farm in Southwest Michigan. Located 100 miles from Chicago, we sell our products in the fall at Chicago farmers markets. We are happy to provide opportunities for certified organic U-Pick for apples. Our major varieties include Red and Golden Delicious, Jonathon, Paula Red, Empire, and Rome. Additional varieties in smaller quantities include Honeycrisp, Cortland, Fuji, Pink Lady and Gala. Ask about the availability of our rare and heritage varieties - they tend to crop less regularly. Other certified organic fruits includes strawberries, watermelon, melon, pear and small amounts of raspberries, blackberries and rhubarb. We also grow peaches. Large selection of organic vegetables are grown, including tomatoes, summer and winter squash, peppers and many more. We also offer fresh Apple Cider and other apple products. We invite to join our 3-month Apple CSA for Chicago and Michiana customers. Annual harvest festival in late September/early October includes live music, apples, apple products, hay rides, food and drink.
