Lydia's Fields, nestled in the rolling hills between Purcellville and Lovettsville, Virginia, sustainably grows figs and a wide variety of vegetables, ranging from arugula and asparagus to spinach and tomatoes, on less than two acres of the 10-acre farm.

Our Mission:
We believe that fresh, good, healthful food comes only by growing it in harmony with nature. We happily share our knowledge of small-scale farming with anyone curious to learn more about locally grown produce.

Our Growing Practices:
We focus on restoring the fertility of our soil through cover cropping, composting and, in a rarity for a farm of our small acreage, letting the land rest.

Our Future Plans:
We want to continue diversifying our operations, to build a hoop house to extend our growing season, and, very importantly, constantly improve our CSA program, which is open for the 2022 season.
