Elsewhere Farm is located in northern Wisconsin, near the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore (of Lake Superior). We offer a 20-week summer CSA from June through October, including fruit, veggies, and eggs from our own chickens. We also feature a weekly winter CSA from December through March featuring fresh greens and storage crops like carrots, beets, squash, and onions, plus treats like apple cider and fresh eggs from our birds. We grow almost everything that goes in the share. We partner with Suri Fina Farm for summer tomatoes and microgreens. We specialize in perennial fruits, and our no-till market garden features heirloom and open-pollinated vegetable varieties. We farm using Permaculture principles and Organic standards, though we are not certified. This means no synthetic chemicals, attention to soil health and biodiversity, and minimal use of fossil fuels. You can buy our produce through one of our CSAs, or week-by-week on the farm. Our fresh eggs are from our heritage and rare breed chickens that range on pasture and are fed with certified Organic feed. We also sell pork from the farm. Your purchase supports our breeding program for the rare breed American Guinea Hog. The pigs enjoy rotating through pastures and orchards and get a supplement of certified Organic grain, plus lots of petting.

Our 2025 Summer CSA runs for 20 weeks from June through October. We are a woman-owned business committed to:
--The freshest possible produce you can buy.
--Growing nutrient dense foods in healthy soils.
--Growing on a human-scaled, carbon-conscious farm
minimal use of large, fossil-fuel-driven equipment; no-till, intensively planted gardens are hand planted and harvested. We also use a minimum of plastic: weed-smothering tarps that last 20 years and clear film on our hoophouse (now 20 years old). We DON'T use single-use plastic mulch on our growing beds. We use corn-based plastic bags for the produce that needs it.
--Growing less common fruits high in antioxidants and minerals.
--Growing open-pollinated crops and preserving our seed heritage.
--Raising rare breed livestock.
--Fruits and vegetables grown without synthetic herbicides, insecticides, fungicides or fertilizers.
--Biodiversity, including pollinators.
