At the headwaters of the Little River, in a high valley of rich bottomland and lush pastureland you will find a peaceful flock of sheep, their guardian donkey, a passel of pigs rooting around the woods, a herd of beef cattle and the Riverstone Organic Farm crew hard at work in the organic crop fields. Visit our little farm store with a big view down the dirt roads of Floyd VA. It is a great stop on the road for locals and visitors alike. You can shop for grassfed lamb, mutton; pasture raised gmo-free pork, mushrooms, and certified organic wholesale vegetables as well as healthy snacks, refreshments, preserves and gifts. We sell lamb by the whole and half animal every March and November. Farm Tours and Workshops are frequent, visit our website for more info. Farm Store is OPEN DAILY 9:00am - 7:00pm. It is self service so please bring cash or check no change can be given. Store is stocked with the freshest seasonal organic produce all grown at our farm as well as grass fed lamb, beef, pork, and pasture raised eggs.
