2014 LH Listing
Our farm grows catnip, culinary herbs, vegetables, strawberries, raspberries and gourds for crafts.
We use organic fertilizer. We do not use any insecticides. Our open field growing season is short due to our location very near to Lake Superior. We are implementing a large 30 Ft by 72 Ft Hoop House in 2015 which will provide Farm Fresh Produce from May to November.
We accept Checks, Credit cards, debit cards, Pay Pal, USDA Seniors and WIC Farm Fresh Coupons, Michigan Bridge/Food Stamp Cards,
The culinary herbs we grow include Basil, Chives, Dill, Garlic, Marjoram, Oregano, Sage, Rosemary, Tarragon and Thyme.
Dried Gourds, Crafted Gourds, Gourd Seeds, Dried Catnip, Dried Herbs and farm crafts are available year round to the general public. We are a member of The American Gourd Society.
Our Crafted Gourds include Bird Houses, Bird Feeders and Watering Stations, Baskets, Bowls, Dippers and Ornaments.
All our Bird Houses are prepared for outside use; they are varnished, coated with polyurethane and have drainage holes drilled in the bottoms. They are ready for hanging. They should last for several years when cleaned each fall and stored inside each winter.
The size, gourd type and pattern are consistent for each birdhouse displayed in our Web store listing. Each gourd used is unique as no two gourd shells look exactly the same.
Our Bird house patterns can be etched on any of our gourd types (Apple, Bottle, Dipper and Kettle) with your choice of an entry size hole. Our web site provides information for selecting an entry size hole for the birds you wish to house.
We welcome visitors, email and phone inquiries.
