Squier Squash & Donnelly Farms

Shelley Squier & Mike Donnelly have operated Squier Squash & Donnelly Farms since 1999. Their 51-acre farm is located in the community of Hinkletown, between the two forks of the English River. They grow vegetables, fruits, herbs and flowers by using 100% chemical-free, GMO-free and sustainable practices. Specialty items include many varieties of garlic, shallots, fingerling potatoes, heirloom tomatoes, peppers, eggplants, basil, and gourmet greens. They raise free-range & pasture laying hens and guineas. They use pygmy goats to help with weed control. Chestnuts are the latest addition in the diversificaton of the farm. Squier Squash & Donnelly Farms sell produce, herbs and flowers at the Iowa City Farmers Market.
