Wicked Woman Farm is a disabled female veteran owned and operated farming/market garden operation. Wicked Woman Farm is operated Misty Coppedge and her team of farmers. We work on a small scale, mini-farm in Cadiz, KY, where we grow seasonal vegetables, herbs, flowers, fruits, hogs, chickens, and turkeys.
Although we are not certified organic (who wants to go through the headache of dealing with the government for organic certification?), we do grow all of our produce and animals using organic, chemical free practices. We practice intensive gardening using raised beds, compost made on our farm, mulching, and manual weeding and tending.
All of our animals are raised with plenty of access to feed, sunshine and pasture, and are not given antibiotics or other chemical enhancements. Our first goal as farmers is to provide wholesome foods for our families and friends. We take pride in our work and hope that our pride shows through in our products.
We believe that food is the most natural, magical thing on the planet (aside from life that is!). We want everyone to have access to reasonably priced, healthy food that they can feed their families without having to worry about how the food was produced.
I've both purchased eggs and breads from the Wicked Woman Farm, and attended a bread making class (where I learned how to make much more than just bread)!... [more]
