Calypso Farm and Ecology Center

Calypso Farm is a non-profit, educational farm in Fairbanks, Alaska offering hands-on education programs for all ages, and growing fresh food for the community. Calypso was established in 2000 and has grown to host an array of educational programs from farming and homesteading to blacksmithing and fiber arts. The farm itself is a diversified 3 acres of vegetables, herbs and cut flowers, nestled in the boreal forest. Shetland sheep, dairy goats, bees and chickens are integrated into the farm ecosystem. Beginning in early June, Calypso offers 16-20 weeks (weather determined) of fresh, organically grown vegetables, herbs and flowers, available by joining our CSA program or visiting one of our markets/farm stand locations.
