Kits Garden has 35 laying hens still laying eggs this fall after the outdoor markets have closed.  Eggs are $7 a dozen,  pickup here  or we can meet at the west end of the RH library lot.  Hens are fed organic feed 2x a day and get to go outside in the daytime and are shut in at night. My hens are assorted breeds including the dark brown eggs from the Welsummers to the lighter brown of the Isa Browns.  We have at least 5 hens that lay the green or blue colored eggs. Eggs are collected daily, spot cleaned and refrigerated.

Kits Garden is a small farm growing certified Organic vegetables and herbs on a historic farmstead. I sell at local farm markets and have Harvest Box CSA program for 15 weeks, or a Half Share for 8 weeks usually every other week June - October. All of my vegetables and herbs are grown organically in wide beds with organic seeds, no chemicals, and mulched with straw and compost. I like to grow a variety of vegetables not found in the grocery stores. Striped Zucchini, purple snap beans, Kohlrabi and colorful cherry tomatoes.
