The Catawba Valley Farmers Market is located at the Catawba Community Center off Rt.311 (Catawba Valley Road) near The Homeplace Restaurant. The market is open on Thursdays from 3:30 to 7:00 PM during the months of May through October.
The market features: Locally grown produce, fruits, fresh herbs, flowers, prepared foods, berries, pickles, jams, baked goods, grassfed meats, honey, eggs, bedding plants, hanging baskets, and traditional handicrafts. Everything locally grown/handcrafted. Kids craft classes, educational demonstrations, & music are featured on occasion.
The Catawba Community Center is equipped with a picnic shelter with tables and a playground. Bring your family and friends out to the historic Catawba Valley for a taste of local living!
In addition to the regular Market, a Holiday Market is held annually on the Saturday before Thanksgiving. On April 25, 2015, the 1st annual Spring Things event will be held.
